It suits couples, food minded skiers and confident intermediates and above who will make the most of Baldy's long, consistent fall line runs.

Skip Ketchum, or at least set expectations, if you want true doorstep ski in ski out or a loud apres ski party scene, because Sun Valley offers little of either. Beginners and families wanting gentle nursery terrain are also better served by the dedicated learning area at Dollar Mountain nearby rather than steep Baldy.
