Val Thorens
The best Easter bet in the Alps, the highest resort in Europe with a huge spring scene.
Val Thorens sits at around 2,300 meters, the highest resort in Europe, with most of its terrain above 2,000 meters and glacier access on top. That altitude means it holds snow when everywhere lower is slushing out, and it usually stays open well into spring.
It also throws the best spring party in the Alps. The sun terraces, the open air bars and the famous La Folie Douce style apres are at their peak at Easter, so you get reliable morning snow and unbeatable afternoons. The one downside is functional architecture, but you do not come here for the village looks.
