Snowbasin

Snowbasin sits about fifty minutes from Salt Lake City airport near Ogden, with palatial day lodges, excellent terrain and a fraction of the crowds of the Cottonwood Canyons.

There is little lodging at the base, so most people stay in Ogden or commute from Salt Lake, but for a short transfer to a big, calm mountain it is a smart and overlooked choice.

Mt Rose
