Transfers from the airport and the practical bits
Most visitors fly into New Chitose Airport just south of Sapporo, then take a coach or private transfer to the resorts, which is by far the easiest option in deep winter when you would rather not drive. Regular shuttle buses run to Niseko, Rusutsu and Kiroro, and a hire car gives more flexibility if you are comfortable driving on snow.
